Early Childhood Family Ed
ECFE offers parents and young children opportunities to learn, play, and grow together through engaging classes that promote early development and foster strong family bonds.
RailHawks Preschool
RailHawks Preschool provides a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children explore, create, and build foundational skills for lifelong learning and success.
Early Childhood Screening
Early Childhood Screening is a free check that begins at age three and is required before your child starts kindergarten to ensure they are growing, developing, and learning as expected.

Youth Enrichment programs provide opportunities for students to explore new interests, develop skills, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

Designed for students aged 14–17, this course provides both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction necessary to become safe, responsible, and confident drivers.
Youth Swim Lessons

Proctor Public Schools and Hermantown Community Schools offer community access to gyms, fields, classrooms, and meeting spaces.
PARTICIPANT CONDUCT POLICY:
Participation in Community Education programs is a privilege, not a right. All participants are expected to maintain respectful, safe, and appropriate behavior toward others. Individuals who are disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe may be removed from class or the program and may lose the opportunity to participate in future Community Education offerings.
REFUND POLICY:
Your money will be refunded if your class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment. If you choose to cancel your class registration and to be eligible for a full refund, we need to receive your request no later than 2:00 p.m., three (3) business days before the first day of class. Please note that a business day is equivalent to a school day.
RAILHAWKS PRESCHOOL PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY:
All registration fees are nonrefundable. The first month’s tuition is due on August 1, with tuition payments concluding on April 1. If you choose to cancel enrollment after August 1, the first month’s tuition remains nonrefundable, as the child’s enrollment is considered in determining sufficient enrollment to operate the class.
All tuition payments are processed electronically through auto-debit in the Arux software system. A $20 late fee will be applied to any payment that does not process successfully or is received after the due date. No refunds are issued for missed classes or for withdrawals made within the current month of service.
Proctor and Hermantown Community Education contracts with specialists in their fields who are interested in presenting classes in their area of expertise to the community. We do not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of the instructors.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Community Education reserves the right to withdraw a course due to insufficient enrollment or the loss of a suitable facility. If we must cancel a class, every effort will be made to contact all the preregistered participants. Please include your email and phone number in your Arux account, our registration software. Email will be the primary form of communication for class cancellations. For short-notice cancellations, Community Education will make every effort to send an email, a phone call, or a text message.
Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather or for other unforeseen reasons. When possible, sessions will be made up. If school closes early or for the day due to bad weather, Community Education will cancel all activities, regardless of the location. Please check your local media for official school closure notices.
