Car Seat Checks

Ensure your child’s car seat is installed and used correctly with the help from a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). Car Seat Safety Checks are hosted by the Hermantown Fire Department on the second Thursday of each month by appointment only, from 9:00-7:00 PM. Once you register, Steve Johnson, CPST will reach out and schedule your time with you. Appointments take place at the Hermantown Fire Department (5111 Maple Grove Road, Hermantown).  During your appointment, a CPST will assist with installation, harness adjustments, safety recommendations, and answer any questions.  If you need immediate assistance, contact:
