Glide Into Third Grade at HES (Summer 2026)

This course is for students entering Third Grade in the fall of 2026.

Students will participate in exciting classroom experiences to help them review and prepare for the third grade. Writing, reading, phonics, and math centers and mini-lessons will be provided daily. Small groups will also be used to help your child work on skills at their level as they review what was taught in Second Grade. A short recess will be provided as an activity break each day. Please send a water bottle with your child. 

All classes will be held at the Hermantown Elementary School. On the first morning of classes (Monday, July 27th), please bring your child to the northeast entry by the big gym (Door #4). We will direct you to the program classroom. It is your responsibility to arrange for transportation to and from the school. Please see that your child is picked up promptly, as there are no aides to supervise children after classes.
