Birds & Beyond: A Day of Discovery at Hawk Ridge!

Join us for an exciting trip to Hawk Ridge, where students in grades K-5 will immerse themselves in the fascinating world of birds! During this interactive field trip, children will learn about raptors, their habitats, and the vital role they play in our ecosystem. Experienced naturalists will guide students as they observe these majestic birds up close, participate in bird banding, and engage in fun, educational games. This unique opportunity will spark curiosity and foster a deeper appreciation for wildlife and conservation! 

Lunch will not be provided so please have Participants bring a cold lunch, sunscreen, and good walking shoes

Pickup times

• 8:30 am - Bay View Elementary (Staff parking lot/ KZ cafeteria door)
• 8:45 am - Hermantown Elementary
• 9:00 am - Pike Lake Elementary (Main/Kids Zone entrance)

Drop off times

• 1:15 pm -  Pike Lake
• 1:30 pm - Hermantown 
• 1:45 pm - Bay View
