Work Hard, Play Hard: Small‑Group Reading with Teacher Kim Wilson

For Incoming Hermantown First Graders – Fall 2026

This small‑group class is designed for young readers who would benefit from extra support as they enter first grade. Groups are kept intentionally small—no more than four students—to ensure each child receives focused attention, targeted instruction, and plenty of encouragement!

Students will practice essential reading skills such as phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension through a mix of structured lessons and hands‑on activities. Alongside academics, children will also have time to play, collaborate, and build confidence with peers!

This class is ideal for families looking to strengthen foundational reading skills while giving their child a fun, social, and positive learning experience!
