Cooking with Mrs. Ronda
Mrs. Ronda began learning to cook at age 10 and grew up growing, harvesting, and preserving food. She brings years of restaurant experience, concession work, and large‑group cooking, along with deep knowledge of cooking, baking, prep, safety, and storage. This class teaches kids the fundamentals of preparing food and using kitchen tools safely. Students will explore new ingredients, build confidence, and expand their ideas about food through fun, hands‑on experiences. Each class date introduces a new recipe to try, or a new appliance or tool to learn to use safely and effectively. Students will read and follow recipes, interpret food labels, practice safe appliance use, sample everything they make, and bring home recipes to share with their families. Kids in grades K-5 are invited to join us for a sweet and simple cupcake‑decorating experience! Each child will decorate three themed pre-frosted vanilla cupcakes—Cookie Monster, Rainbow, and Teddy‑Gram Beach—while following easy, step‑by‑step instructions. All supplies are included, and every child takes home their delicious creations. -
Cardboard Gingerbread House
Build holiday magic from the ground up in this fun, hands-on kids’ craft class! Participants will design and decorate their own cardboard gingerbread house using paint, paper, “candy” decorations, and creative imagination—no baking required.
