DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, a snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes.

DASH Sports USTA Red Ball Tennis camps provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. This camp is a fun social experience designed to cover the basics of tennis fundamentals. With modified equipment and lower compression red balls, this camp will supercharge the success of your players. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of the serve, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke, forehand volley, backhand volley, and the overhead smash will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and athletic clothing/shoes and bring a tennis racket (optional if you have one), a water bottle, and a snack. Balls and all other equipment are provided.

DASH Sports Summer Phys. Ed Games (Ultimate Games) camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite physical education games! Games will include: Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag games, Ultimate Frisbee/Football, Soccer, Sharks and Minnows, and more! Participants will learn teamwork and values such as respect, hustle, and pride, all in a fun environment. Campers should bring a snack, a water bottle, and sunscreen. All other equipment is provided.

Early Learning hosts many pop-up events at minimal cost or free throughout the year to bring families from our communities together. This is an opportunity to spend quality time with your child(ren) participating in activities that are age-appropriate and joyous for children. We encourage all our families with young children to get out and explore the world through their eyes! Pop-up events are also a great way for families to participate in early learning if an ECFE class is not feasible for your family. It is also a great time to check in with our early childhood experts and ask questions about our programs, parenting questions, and learn more about your child's development. All our events are planned by our early learning staff because we enjoy helping families grow, and we know how essential it is to strengthen the family bond. Each event is one night only.

HERMANTOWN FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CHALLENGE (FLLC): 2025–2026 SEASON What is FLL Challenge? Friendly competition is at the heart of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge (FLLC), where teams of students ages 9–14 (grades 4–9) explore real-world problems through research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering. Using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime robots, teams design, build, and program a robot to complete missions in a themed Robot Game. In addition to the Robot Game, each team develops an Innovative Project — a creative solution to a real-world problem aligned with the season's theme. Teams can start practicing. August 31 – Official release of the 2025–2026 FLL Challenge: UNEARTHED! July 31 – Registration deadline. All fees are due at the time of registration. August–November – Weekly team meetings (frequency set by coaches); field trips or guest speakers may enhance research December 6 – Regional Tournament at Hermantown (Top teams will advance to Sectionals, State, and even Worlds!) We can only form teams with enough coaches, so please consider volunteering! Coaching is a fun and rewarding way to support students as they learn to collaborate, build, and problem-solve. No robotics or programming experience is required. Coaches act as facilitators — helping students explore the challenge, build the robot, conduct research, and practice FIRST Core Values. Hermantown FIRST TECH CHALLENGE (FTC®) 2025-2026 competitive season Code, Design, and Compete with Robots! FIRST® Tech Challenge students work together with their mentors to design and build robots to compete in a dynamic and exciting challenge released every September. Teams program classroom-scale robots to follow autonomous commands before student drivers take control in two-on-two matches. On and off the field, students develop STEM skills, engage in community outreach, practice engineering innovation, and build confidence to help them succeed. Due to the popularity of this program, we are creating a second team this season!
