Leap Into Second Grade at HES (Summer 2026)Youth ClassesThis course is for students entering Second Grade in the fall of 2026. Students will participate in exciting classroom experiences to help them review and prepare for the second grade. Writing, reading, phonics, and math centers and mini-lessons will be provided daily. Small groups will also be used to help your child work on skills at their level as they review what was taught in First Grade. A short recess will be provided as an activity break each day. Please send a water bottle with your child. All classes will be held at the Hermantown Elementary School. On the first morning of classes (Monday, July 27th), please bring your child to the northeast entry by the big gym (Door #4). We will direct you to the program classroom. It is your responsibility to arrange for transportation to and from the school. Please see that your child is picked up promptly, as no aides supervise children after classes.2025-2026 -

Merritt Martial Arts - Summer 2026 ProgramAdult Health, Fitness, & SafetyDevelop your physical and mental health through various Contemporary and Traditional Martial Arts training. Participants can expect to learn Martial Arts history and philosophy, plus a great workout. This session includes light contact sparring and Belt Rank Promotions for qualified candidates. There will also be an additional fee of $20 for belt rank promotions & sparing equipment. Lessons will take place on Mondays & Wednesdays at Solway Town Hall. Gold belt and up rank will be from 5:00 - 6:00 pm Beginners will be from 6:00-7:00 pm. Anyone 6 and above can participate in either session. One-hour lessons per week are $40/month. Open SwimYouth Swim LessonsSplash into fun with our Open Swim sessions! These sessions are perfect for letting your child show off their swim skills while having a blast in the water with friends! Please arrive at 1 pm. Please review the following rules before registering! Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult within arm's reach in the water Young children who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper The shallow end is open to all swimmers Children wishing to swim in the middle or deep end must pass a swim test at the start of the session by...
