In this camp, we will make a multi-storied fairy home, furniture, and fairy dolls to go with it. Note to parents: Arrive at Ugstad Circle Doors in AM to be let into the building. Please pack sunscreen, a water bottle, and a small nut-free snack each day. Weather permitting, a portion of the class sessions may be spent outdoors.

Kids will have fun creating colorful felt flowers in this hands-on craft class! Using soft felt, child-safe scissors, and simple tools, each child will design and assemble their own beautiful flowers to take home. They can mix and match colors, shapes, and decorations to make a one-of-a-kind creation This class encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination in a friendly, relaxed setting. All supplies are provided, and no prior crafting experience is needed. Perfect for kids who love to create, decorate, and use their imagination!

Fishing Olympics is an active, hands-on event where campers rotate through a series of fishing-themed challenges designed to build basic angling skills while keeping the atmosphere fun and energetic. Participants will practice casting, learn a useful fishing knot, identify common fish species, and think strategically about what belongs in a tackle box. Each activity awards points, and campers celebrate their efforts with small prizes and recognition.

Get ready to cast your line into a summer full of stories! In the Fishing for Books Summer Reading Challenge, readers will “reel in” their reading time and collect fish as they go. Every time you read, you’ll add another catch to your fishing log and move closer to new fishing levels and prizes. For every 20 minutes of reading, color in or mark one fish on your log. Reading can include reading independently, reading to someone, listening to a story, or reading with a parent or caregiver. As you collect more fish, you’ll unlock fun fishing-themed rewards and earn entries into the end-of-summer prize drawing. Along the way, readers can also complete special “Fishing Missions,” such as reading outside, reading a nonfiction book about animals or nature,or reading before bedtime for a week. Each mission earns bonus fish and extra chances for prizes. Turn in your completed fishing log by the end of the summer to celebrate your reading accomplishments and see if your name is drawn for the grand prize. The more you read, the more fish you catch, and the better your chances of landing the big prize! Reading logs will be emailed to the adult who registered before June 8 so families can begin tracking their reading throughout the summer. Join Proctor Schools in partnership with the MN Vikings for an exciting Girls Flag Football Summer program! This program introduces girls to the basics of football while promoting skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, hand-eye coordination, and communication. Participants should be dressed to work out, should bring a water bottle, and we recommend they wear a pair of cleats.

Recreate the magical world of Harry Potter in this mixed-media art camp, led by Proctor High School art teacher, Alyssa Swanson. There is so much to draw inspiration from in these books: from the magical creatures to the dangerous plants, and the castle backgrounds and classes, even the unique food. Students will sculpt, paint, draw, and more in this art camp taught by one of the biggest Harry Potter fans out there. Led by coach Greg Aker, Hermantown Speed and Strength Training will be taking place over the course of 6 weeks at Hermantown High School from Monday, June 29th, through Friday, August 7th. This training program is for students entering grades 8-12 only. There is no class on July 3rd. Below is additional information for interested participants. Payments must be submitted online through the Community Ed website (ph.arux.app) Schedule: Monday through Friday starting June 29th and ending August 7th Three A.M. sessions offered: Session 1: 8:00-9:15 Session 2: 9:15-10:30 Session 3: 10:30-11:45 Any session is an option for participants on any given day to accommodate participants and their summer schedules Adjustments to the schedule will be made on an as-needed basis

This camp is designed to work on enhancing your volleyball skills with high school players and coaches working alongside you! Our camp is centered around skill development using different techniques through the first three days learning how to pass, set, hit, serve and general rotation followed by our two day round-robin tournament including dress-up days and treats on Friday. All participants receive a t-shirt with registration.
