A free ECFE class designed for caregivers to connect, walk, and talk while receiving support from a Parent Educator. Each session focuses on topics, questions, and real-life issues that come up throughout the week, with conversations guided by caregivers to ensure meaningful, relevant support. Children are welcome to attend as long as they can ride comfortably in a stroller or baby carrier. Circle of Security strengthens the parent–child relationship by helping caregivers understand and respond to their child’s emotional needs. By supporting both exploration and comfort, it builds trust, secure attachment, and stronger co-regulation between parent and child. The Circle of Security is a visual framework for understanding attachment and is used in parent education and support programs. It helps caregivers recognize and respond to children’s needs by showing the balance between a child’s desire to explore the world and their need to return for comfort and reassurance. Within this model, the caregiver’s role is to provide both a secure base for exploration and a safe haven for emotional support.
