Quarter 3 will be an 7-week book study facilitated for parents with young children, focusing on "How Eskimos Keep Their Babies Warm And Other Adventures in Parenting" by Mei-Ling Hopgood. Led by Parent Educator, JoHannah Orman: This study offers a supportive environment where parents can connect, discuss, and explore the challenges all parents face: bedtimes, potty training, feeding, teaching, and more. This book study will provide a global perspective on parenting while experimenting with tried and true methods from around the world that prove there are many ways to be a good parent. A unique opportunity for caregivers to meet weekly with our licensed parent educator and other caregivers to discuss questions that pop up throughout the week about parenting and child development. Topics are solely lead by participants. All children attending must be able to ride in a stroller or baby carrier. During the winter months we will move into the Aspirus St. Luke's Sports and Event Center walking track.

Independence, language development, problem-solving, and social skills emerge during these ages. The classroom will foster all these developing skills, and you will value the parent discussion where you can learn, share, and appreciate this stage of your parenting journey. We'll bring the public library experience alive in our classroom as children explore books of every kind and spend time paging through their favorite stories. The early learning teacher will read a special story each week and engage young minds with purposeful, exploratory questions and an activity. Occasional special guests will visit the classroom to wow children and read the story of the day! Every child will leave with a different book per date, and all children may only participate one quarter per year. Ages 30-60 month by September 1, 2025 Non-Seperating

Step Into Preschool is an opportunity for children not quite three years old to begin who are ready to start transitioning to the classroom and work on their independence skills. During their time in the classroom, the teacher will focus on social and emotional development, peer-to-peer interaction, and basic introduction to math and literacy. Children will use creative, open-ended play to learn and discover new ideas! Step into learning with your night owls as they explore and grow. All children will have an opportunity to participate in learning activities, sensory play, social interaction, and building development skills with an early childhood teacher.
