Learn all about monarch butterflies and their incredible life cycle with beloved Hermantown teacher Mrs. Flynn! Young naturalists will observe each stage up close, explore how caterpillars grow and transform, and discover what monarchs need to thrive. Through hands‑on activities, simple science exploration, and plenty of curiosity, kids will build an understanding of these amazing creatures and the world around them.

Battle of the Books is for students in Grades 3-5 who love to read. Students will read 6 books and discuss, ask questions, and prepare for the "game show" battle about the books. Students will need to read outside of school to prepare for each meeting. T-shirt included with registration! Practices will be from 3:45-4:30 Nov. 9 - Parents are welcome to attend the first meeting for information on Battle of the Books, but not required. Practices will be on November 9 - Introduction, December 14, January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3! The Battle will be held in May 7th at the Middle School!
