A unique opportunity for caregivers to meet weekly with our licensed parent educator and other caregivers to discuss questions that pop up throughout the week about parenting and child development. Topics are solely lead by participants. All children attending must be able to ride in a stroller or baby carrier. During the winter months we will move into the Aspirus St. Luke's Sports and Event Center walking track.

The Circle of Security Parenting Program is a quarterly (Q4) class that uses decades of research to help parents develop and strengthen secure parent-child relationships. This intensive class teaches parents and caregivers to better understand the emotional needs of their children, how to support their child's ability to manage and improve self-esteem, and how to honor parents' innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure. Together, we will focus on learning how to both read your toddler's emotional needs and help them successfully manage these emotions. Babies 0-4 months may remain with their caregiver during class; all other children must attend childcare.

A great opportunity for grandparents (or grand friends) to interact with their young learners and meet other grandparents in the community. The classroom will be set up with intentional learning activities, circle time, special stories, and more. Ages 0-5 years by September 1, 2025 Non-Separating

We'll bring the public library experience alive in our classroom as children explore books of every kind and spend time paging through their favorite stories. The early learning teacher will read a special story each week and engage young minds with purposeful, exploratory questions and an activity. Occasional special guests will visit the classroom to wow children and read the story of the day! Little RailHawks will explore different art mediums and create incredible art while you sing along with your child. Parents will learn how to support their child's development through age-appropriate art and music. Ages 18-36 Months by September 1, 2025 Non-Separating

Step into learning with your night owls as they explore and grow. All children will have an opportunity to participate in learning activities, sensory play, social interaction, and building development skills with an early childhood teacher. Caregivers will explore and learn alongside their child directly in the room as a parent educator guides and helps them as needed. A light meal will be provided for the children. Quarter 3 will be an 7-week book study facilitated for parents with young children, focusing on "How Eskimos Keep Their Babies Warm And Other Adventures in Parenting" by Mei-Ling Hopgood. Led by Parent Educator, JoHannah Orman: This study offers a supportive environment where parents can connect, discuss, and explore the challenges all parents face: bedtimes, potty training, feeding, teaching, and more. This book study will provide a global perspective on parenting while experimenting with tried and true methods from around the world that prove there are many ways to be a good parent. RailHawks Preschool is a continuum of services offered by our Early Learning team for children preparing to transition to kindergarten the following year.
