We'll bring the public library experience alive in our classroom as children explore books of every kind and spend time paging through their favorite stories. The early learning teacher will read a special story each week and engage young minds with purposeful, exploratory questions and an activity. Occasional special guests will visit the classroom to wow children and read the story of the day! Intro to Nature RailHawks Preschool is a continuum of services offered by our Early Learning team for children preparing to transition to kindergarten the following year. Our licensed educators take the traditional preschool classroom outdoors. Students spend at least half the day outdoors in our school forest, engaging and learning through outdoor exploration. Research shows that open-ended play in nature allows children to use creativity, develop self-regulation skills, and enjoy various physical and mental health benefits.
