Explore what cities Amtrak services (over 500) in 46 states and 2 provinces in Canada. Randy will have many handouts and visit about his 10 years of Amtrak Travel covering 21 different train trips and almost 91,000 miles. He will not sugar coat it but will give you the good and bad. He will tell you what to bring, what you can eat on the train and what not to do. He will talk about the Amtrak web page, how to make reservations and what Facebook pages you may want to join. You will see the different cars and the two different kinds of trains you can take. He will show some videos and will conduct the class as an open class, meaning you may ask questions whenever you want to. After the class he will make his phone number and email address available to the class for future help making reservations and to answer any questions that you might have. Come join Katrina on a hiking adventure through the beautiful trails of Duluth. You'll get to explore the natural world, observe birds, flowers, seasonal changes and other interesting features along the way. After each hike, you'll have the opportunity to do some nature journaling. The instructor will provide all the necessary supplies for the journaling. You’ll explore simple design techniques, tile placement, and finishing touches to create a piece you’ll be proud to take home. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxing, social atmosphere. All materials are provided.

Design greeting cards that fit your style and the occasion. Everyone will go home with five greeting cards. Registration is required. ($3.00 registration fee online and $12 cash for supplies on day of class) Mail out kits will go out the day after the in-person class & the photos/video will be emailed out
