Ready to feel stronger and more confident in the weight room? This beginner-friendly class introduces women to the fundamentals of strength training in a supportive, encouraging environment. Learn proper form, safe lifting techniques, and how to use free weights effectively. Whether your goal is to build strength, improve tone, or boost overall fitness, this class will give you the knowledge and confidence to make strength training a regular part of your routine.

No experience necessary — just bring your energy and willingness to learn!

Kevin Thomas

Kevin earned his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from The College of St. Scholastica. This past spring, he interned at the YMCA, where he led a variety of fitness classes and enjoyed connecting with participants. Over the summer, he worked with the Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams at the University of Minnesota, helping support their training programs. Kevin is passionate about health and wellness and loves helping others find fun, confidence, and balance through movement.
