Early Childhood Screening- HermantownECS - HermantownIf your child resides in the Hermantown School District, click here to schedule his/her Early Childhood Screening appointment. Early Childhood Screening is a free program in Minnesota that checks how a child is developing and growing. Early Childhood Screening is a brief, simple process used to identify potential health or developmental problems in young children. It includes a review of height, weight, vision, hearing, speech, social and emotional progress and overall development. Screening in early childhood supports children's readiness for kindergarten and promotes positive child health and developmental outcomes through referrals to early learning opportunities. Note: Screenings are typically most successful at 3 years and 6 months of age; however, if you have any developmental concerns, please feel free to register. Be sure to sign in or create your account before selecting your screening appointment.
