Focus on a more efficient way of living with specifically designed strength exercises while increasing your endurance with light cardio. Ms. Roxy is excited to promote a love of reading and host another American Girl Doll giveaway! After registering and paying, you will receive a reading log via email. For every 20 minutes you read with your child or that your child reads independently, fill in a circle on the log. Each 100 minutes earns you a ticket for a prize drawing of an American Girl doll. If you reach 1,800 minutes (30 hours), your name will be entered 18 times! Other prizes include: 400 minutes: American Girl Doll Water Bottle Sticker 800 minutes: Ice Cream Coupon 1200 minutes: An American Girl Doll Book 1800 minutes: American Girl Doll Tote Bag Your reading log must be turned in on or before August 17th as the winner will be drawn randomly on August 18th! Randy will have many handouts and visit about his 10 years of Amtrak Travel covering 21 different train trips and almost 91,000 miles. He will not sugar coat it but will give you the good and bad. He will tell you what to bring, what you can eat on the train and what not to do. He will talk about the Amtrak web page, how to make reservations and what Facebook pages you may want to join. You will see the different cars and the two different kinds of trains you can take. He will show some videos and will conduct the class as an open class, meaning you may ask questions whenever you want to. After the class he will make his phone number and email address available to the class for future help making reservations and to answer any questions that you might have. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Student book at the end of class. From getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years.
